Jump Your Way to Better Health with Jump Nation Fitness Classes

At Jump Nation we offer all sorts of ways to jump your way to better health, from our popular Jump & Burn aerobics class to HIIT Nation, our trampoline-based take on High Intensity Interval Training.

Fitness classes

We think all our exercise classes – there are up to six different kinds, depending on location – are great for burning fat, toning up and generally making you feel vital, alive and just, well, great. Most are suitable for beginners and advanced exercisers alike.

But you don’t have to take our word for it. A growing body of evidence shows that you really can leap your way to a healthier life. Here’s all you need to know.

Your joints will love you…

Think about jumping on a springy trampoline, and then think about running on a concrete pavement.

It’s easy to see how trampolining might be better for your joints, but you might not know how much better. In fact, it’s been calculated that trampolining is up to 80% less stressful on weight bearing joints than jogging.

If you’re prone to knee, ankle, spine or hip problems or are recovering from a ligament injury, trampolining could be the perfect exercise for you.

…And so will the rest of you

And whether you have joint problems or not, trampolining is a great way to increase fitness, shed weight and improve health.

When you jump at Jump Nation you’ll probably be having too much fun to notice your glowing skin or pounding heart, but your body is working really hard to propel you into the air, adjust your body in flight and cushion every landing.

It all adds up to a great workout. But again, don’t take our word for it. A NASA study on the benefits of bouncing found that a ten minute trampoline workout can be as effective as a 30 minute run.

That’s right. You get all the benefits of jogging in a third of the time.

And because trampolining involves repetitive movements it helps to strengthen muscles and bones. The constant need to readjust in mid-air helps coordination and balance. And like any aerobic exercise it burns calories and builds muscle - it just does so more efficiently than many alternatives.

After a session at Jump Nation you’ll feel out of breath and out of this world. Aerobic exercises like trampolining flood our bodies with feel-good chemicals that have been shown to keep anxiety and depression at bay.

And let’s face it, it’s easy to forget the cares of the day when you’re rebounding off walls, dunking basketballs and throwing yourself onto giant air bags.

A class act

You’ll get all these benefits from any session at Jump Nation. But you can really ratchet them up by taking one of our dedicated exercise classes, run by trained fitness professionals who know how to get the very best from a trampoline fitness session.

There are plenty to choose from. Here’s a rundown of all Jump Nation’s fitness classes, but check your location here to find out what’s on near you:
