We've all heard the advice that in order to actually motivate ourselves we need to feel like we're having fun - and nothing can beat a good trampoline jump. You are more likely to have fun exercising in a group than going it alone. Fitness classes are the perfect place to try your hand at something new and make friendships with people who have similar aspirations and life goals. You'll laugh together, sweat together and leave feeling ready to take on the world.
When you're on your own, you may slow down if you get a little tired, or give up when you get winded. But in a group setting, instructors monitor your physical fitness and push you further out of your comfort zone when you feel like giving up. You're more likely to work out harder as everyone is exercising towards the same goal. Not only that, but your class mates will encourage you to continue, simply by the virtue of the fact they're still going. If they can do it, so can you.
